the scoop of humanity at one khall, the anointed ones" were a mixed group.. one bro, h. had been in for eons.

he was df for adultery, back in the day when they would announce your sin openly from the platform to everyone.

he just kept on coming and partaking until he was reinstated.

I had one that was a friend. Her name was Lena Mckay in her late 70's/80's. She was an interesting character only in mode of dress. She would wear cute Little Red Riding Hood bonnets she made, along with her country farm dresses and was very dedicated along with being as sharp as a tack.

I had befriended her at the hall and very surprised not many took an interest in spending quality time with her, so I'd go over and we'd make peach or cherry cobler or we'd go out in service. She also had a little veggie garden she tended. As I recall the only time we'd really talk about spiritual things was in service or if I had a question, otherwise, while baking or doing other things she was focused on her chore at hand. I recall her telling me how people would tell her she was brain washed and she'd say....."Yes, my mind has been washed clean".....I asked her how she knew she was of the anointed and she said her hope was different. In spending time with her she really didn't seem any different from any other JW or had any indepth knowledge other then being a very sweet sweet, independent, person. She's since passed.

Where has the money gone??????

after all the real estate sell offs, im confidently sure that the wts must be a flush with cash (well at least for the present time).

i cant believe how blissfully un-aware the local dubbies are about where the money has gone and what it is been used for.

so my question is where has all this money gone??

Though they don't charge for mags anymore at the door, all RnF book counter purchases and new releases (DVDs/etc) is another income driving opportunity. Millions of JW's will be buying the "new bible" for themselves and gifts....$$$$$$$$$

At the time I was wondering too if 911 is what pushed them to make the move too.....

Offshore accounts. UK investment companies. Warwick. Investing in Africa (true). Candice Conti.

Though they lose/lost money due to circumstances Blondie mentioned, their corporate minions are coming up with new ways to make more money I'm sure......

WTS also gets grant money from various city and state funds. Plus, didn't they get a large amount of money for hosting their convention in a city? I'm sure that happens often. And what about the ponzi scheme forcing Congregations to borrow money for upgrades and hand over KH deeds. Though donations are lower, those dollars and cents still add up...plus, they're streamlining litrature, etc., which will be saving them a lot of money.....

Post 6: My brother turns on me now - Possible Legal advice

this is a letter i received today with my brother turning on me based on something that was told to him by my crazy mother.

he works for me, yet has not spoken a word to me in months because he is a self-righteous little dick.. .

what i would like to know from someone who knows the law, is it possible i can sue him if he pressures people to not work with me because of my religious beliefs????

Sounds like a douch to me. I can totally understand JW victimes going such lengths due to brainwashing/devotion. But from what you said about stealing your business and his attitude of self improtance = douch bag

I have a gage I measure my JW family with. The ones who are really brainwashed who THINK they are doing the right thing, and the others who are selfish jerks....
